Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian and English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and an Indian father and a Russian mom. In 2011, she created an original choreography, which earned her the privilege of appearing on German TV as a Russian snowmaiden, who then changed into a Indian dancer. Following her graduation from the high school level at the age of 11 in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB Studio, but she left to study improvisation in The Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and an Russian mother Olga. She moved with her father to New York when she was thirteen year old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. TV actress known for playing an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. She also had recurring roles in The Following on Fox, The Following as well as the NBC show The Blacklist.
